ABOUT US

WashU Teach ESL (English as a second language) is a student-run organization at Washington University in St. Louis that aims to provide free tutoring services to members of the WU community (students, staff, etc.) for whom English is not their first language. The club's broad mission is to foster unity and cultural understanding between all members of the WU community.
Our group got started back up recently and we're always looking for new tutors and tutees to help expand our reach! Being a tutor or tutee can be a rewarding and fun experience! Please note that no prior teaching experience is necessary. We provide training for all new tutors! Be sure to check out the resources linked to this page to get a better sense of what we are all about!
